I Still Don’t Feel Bad About My Abortion?

If you don’t want to read about this subject, if you think it’s distasteful or TMI, then please stop reading now
I’ve gotten lots of hate mail in response to my comments that I got an abortion 6 years ago and that I have never once felt bad about it. Responses ranging from you’re a whore, to you’re stupid for not using birth control, to several saying you’re going straight to hell (love those ones). Like many women who find themselves pregnant, I was using birth control that month. I am not stupid. Birth control does not always work properly or in my case as I was going through a lot at that time, I did not take it properly for the first time in my life. **** happens! I wasn’t aware that all of you were so ******* perfect and have never made a mistake in your life. Women who get pregnant are not stupid- if it were so incredibly easy to avoid, how do you explain the fact that there are six million unplanned pregnancies in the US alone each year? And let’s not forget, we didn’t do this on our own, there was a man involved- I don’t hear any of you saying anything hateful about him. “You shouldn’t be spreading your legs”, well maybe he shouldn’t be playing HIS part in the process either. These are the men we love (husbands, boyfriends) that we are having sex with, that does not make us whores. Apparantly there are no consequences for men having sex. Here’s the thing, if I’m going to hell for this, I will be joined by a third of the female population since statistaclly one in three women gets an abortion in her lifetime. Many more don’t and are not good parents, but unfortuntely there aren’t any stats on that. So think of three women you know, pick one, and tell her that she’s an evil whore who’s going to hell too.
And by the way no, I don’t feel bad for not giving my baby up for adoption. I just love how people (especially MEN, stfu) think it’s just a breeze to go through nine months of pregnancy (I would have lost my job at the time if I had continued my pregnancy, by the way), risk medical complications, feel sick, get fat, get stretch marks and then push something the size of a melon out one’s lady parts in order to give the baby to someone else, after which your body is never the same. Because you forgot to take your birth control one time. I DON’T THINK SO.. I don’t feel bad for putting my health, life, career and well being before that of an undevloped fetus who can’t feel anything. I don’t want any other girls to feel bad either. By the way I got an IUD implanted after this procedure so it won’t be happening again. I feel like I did the right thing in every possible way, and I know at least a third of the female population agrees with me.
Also if you want to call this a rant and comment on the fact that it’s not a question, that’s fine. If you don’t like it, DON’T READ/RESPOND TO IT

The reason it’s still on my mind is not becuase it’s bothering me but because I went to Planned Parenthood to get birth control and some pro-life tards were out front protesting with thier signs of late-term abortions (which is NOT by the way, what goes on there. Almost all abortions are done in first trimester) trying to make other girls feel bad. ******* annoying

I didn’t read the all thing
I just stop here to say this
I don’t care what people do with their own babies
    it’s your life
    it’s your choice
    I don’t hate you
    because I don’t know you
and I don’t care to know you
I’m pretty sure you feel the same about me
    so we even
I wish the best for you

The whole problem is the same as before Roe v. Wade. Rich women will always have access to a safe abortion. And when restricted rich women will always qualify by an uncanny margin. The GOP knows that people today have either forgotten or are to young to know that. And boy-o-boy don’t they take advantage of it.
Like their tobacco industry friends, the party of the rich (republican) could care less if we live or die. The tobacco company’s want our money and the GOP wants our vote. And neither cares if we live or die in the process.

It is amazing how much a 99.9% effective form of birth control FAILS.

You must be so proud of yourself to post this. Here’s my take even MORE women have managed to not have “unwanted” pregnancies – imagine that! Wonder how they managed and yet you couldn’t.
Congrats for making a change to actually prevent pregnancy this time. Hahaha
Oh and if you think your health was in danger because you were pregnant, image what your body went thru when the baby was sucked out – better yet – imagine how your baby felt.

I am totally against abortion, at any time. However, I do not wish you to go to hell or suffer unnecessarily in any way, any more than you apparently already are. You made a decision…it was legal to do so…you broke none of man’s laws. I will include you in my prayers for all of the mothers in this world that have made the same tough decision that you did. And I will also include your unborn child in my prayers.
When the day comes, in your future, that you mourn your loss or start to feel the guilt that eventually catches up with these would-be mothers, please turn to the Lord for strength and guidance. He is a forgiving God and will wrap you in his warm embrace and give you the comfort you will need.

There’s nothing wrong with population control.
